McClellan

McClellan is an exciting business park with diverse amenities including aircraft-related industries, technology incubator, data call centers, and upscale hotel and conference facilities. McClellan is located 12.5 miles from downtown Sacramento off Watt Avenue near Interstate Business 80 and Interstate I-5.

Sacramento County's ongoing success in creating jobs at McClellan is hailed as a national model for innovation--a vital transformation from an Air Force Base to a thriving economic engine.

At McClellan, progressive companies can benefit from competitively-priced workspace and offer employees an environment that includes a park, gymnasium, day care and café.

As partners with the developer, the McClellan Economic Development team oversees reuse planning, airport oversight and transfer of property from the Air Force. Guidance for public and private sector investments ensure the community's best interests.

In addition, SCAS works with aircraft operators to fly as quietly as possible, while operating in a safe and efficient manner. Aircraft Noise Reduction Procedures and a McClellan Fixed-Wing And Rotary-Wing VFR Traffic Patterns brochure were developed to support the noise reduction program.
