What's New at Economic Development:
- Revised Request for Proposals – To streamline the proposal submittal process, Sacramento County Economic Development revised the Request for Proposals (RFP) for Food, Beverage, and Retail Concessions at the County Administration Center in downtown Sacramento. The requested services include a café/restaurant, beverage kiosk, vending machines, catering, and retail sales of county-logo merchandise. The selected proposer will be recommended for consideration by the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors. Proposals are due by 4:00 PM on Friday, August 29, 2008. - Florin Road Partnership District Renewed - Efforts to revitalize the Florin Road area will continue with the extension of a business-improvement district for another decade. Property owners have been working together, along with the City and County of Sacramento, to make Florin Road an economically thriving part of our region. - Sacramento's Sustainable Business Awards – Mark your calendars for September 18, when local environmentally conscious businesses will be recognized at a special ceremony.
